With reference to Your Lordship's
Despatch No.191 of the 9th. of last September, I have the
honour to state that I am informed that Mr. P. Heathcote,
temporary clerk in the Audit Office, has been transferred
from the Royal Garrison Artillery to the Reserve and will
therefore not be entitled to a pension from the Army
funds.
2.
I presume, therefore, that it
will be unnecessary to continue the contribution of £1 per
mensem on account of his pension to the War Department and
that the sum of £2 ($24) already paid will be refunded.
